- I'm going to try and teach myself computer programming. After
- reading several messages here, I decided to go out and buy a book
- called "The C++ Programming Language" However, once I got in the
- store and seen all the other books my mind went wacky. Basically I
- would eventually like to write programs for windows 95 and things of
- that sort. I seen books about programming for Win95 and even a
- program that lets you design applications for Win95. I was going to
- get them, but I figured I would need some C++ learning to even use
- them. What I'm asking you is... Is knowledge of C++ needed, is C++
- like the ABC's of all language. Will C++ be out of style before I
- even figure it out myself. Am I off to the right start by reading and
- using this C++ book I bought. Is there easier programming styles out
- there, are there better languages out there. etc.....
